Corrupt officials are so afraid of losing kickbacks from backdoor deals with russian oligarchs they financed a huge propaganda campaign claiming that shooting down russian missiles or closing sky over Ukraine will lead to NOOOKULAR WRAAAAAA that for now third year in a row, people just accept that it’s normal for russians to bomb everyone and defending against them is impossible.
Been saying that for two and a half years now. I’m sorry our politicians are just so slow and ineffective at supplying military aid. Everybody is scared shitless but eventually, they send the weapons anyway, after countless lives and territory have been lost. I was calling for a partial no-fly zone on day one, I wanted the US to send ATACMS since the first batch of HIMARS platforms has arrived. But instead of that, we had two years of gerrymandering with the only effect being more more and more harm inflicted upon the Ukrainian people. The policies need to change and they need to change fast – it’s time for the old and tired establishment to step aside and let us youngsters handle this. I implore people to go out and let their voices be heard – the Europarliament elections are going on right now and every vote counts. There is no more time to waste if Ukraine is to be saved. Renounce the demagogues, let’s take Europe back.
Sucks the leaders we want are only found in fiction. Day 0 US forces should’ve been put in place to intercept the Russians. Day one we should’ve smashed Putin’s balls and cleaned our boots with shoigus mouth.
