I can’t imagine what it costs both upfront and in maintenance, but this has to be a real pain for poop-tin.
I’m looking forward to the inevitable report of the “Stronk RuZZian Navy” loosing a submarine to something named “Sea Baby” very soon. lol
Drones with depth charges and homing torpedoes.
A submarine might be able to detect Ukrainian aquatic drones, but it is ill-equipped to engage them.
LOL. Lovely. I can see this will be a problem when a drone boat hits one.
Ooohhh, more high value targets to hit.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up losing a submaring soon, in the most dumbest way possible.
Willing to bet they were given torps that can be air delivered.
No point in making it known to everyone.
I can’t believe Mk.54 torpedoes are only 276kg. You could probably fit 2 comfortably on a Sea Baby drone, I reckon. If only some just happened to turn up in Ukraine…
One submarine is called Москва
Did Ukraine not get some anti submarine helicopters from the UK
I was wondering when they would do that.
They needed submarines to say hi to their friends
But it wouldn’t be the first sub to be destroyed by NFU, right?
Time to add torpedoes to the military assistant packages!!
That Russian sub that was hit by storm shadows in dry dock was gutted beyond repair, not crippled. The warhead detonated inside the pressure hull with effects similar to that of a hotdog in a microwave.
Time to dust off those old Sea King’s that the UK gave Ukraine…
Time for Ukraine to ask for a German conventional submarine, they are the best NATO has. Virtually invisible.
Are there any nuclear risks of sinking a nuclear submarine?
I would not be too surprised if, as the next step in drone evolution, Ukraine next deployed submersible high speed suicide drones. 🙂
It never ceases to amaze that Russia makes the smarter choice after… 3 years?
And it’s still not going to work.
