The Armed Forces of Ukraine create a new kind of troops – forces of unmanned systems.

Today, in Kyiv during a press conference on the topic “Progress of creation of Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” was told by the newly appointed Commander of Forces of Ukraine Colonel Vadim Suharevsky. He outlined the key challenges and major tasks currently facing the new kind of troops.

The commander announced that among the key priorities were to increase the effectiveness of the enemy’s impact through unmanned devices. Also, in the future, there will be more systematic training of specialists of the new kind of troops in higher military training institutions and training centers.

Preparation is an important element. We will do our best to join forces with civil schools that teach drone operators. We want to systematize the process of training professional pilots as much as possible, – emphasized Colonel Vadim Suharevsky.

In addition, the Drone Forces Command will work on developing technology in close interaction with scientific, military and civilian institutions. It is planned to create an advanced robotic polygon to test the latest models of drones of different types.

The forces of unmanned systems will engage in comprehensive planning of military operations with the use of robotic complexes, accompany the development of drones of all kinds.

The steel swallow, created by a neuro network, has become a symbol of a new kind of troops. This bird in Ukrainian culture is associated with the beginning of a new life and is considered a harbinger of victory.
