This is not making russia pay.

Almost no russians would ever have benefited from this money, even if it was not confiscated and transferred to Ukraine (or anywhere else outside russia).

It’s only the thieving russian oligarchs who are losing anything.

That’s great, of course, but the headlines ought to be clearer on such things.
