I have a cat rescued from a village south of Izyum, brought her to the US with me after volunteering over there for 6 months in 2022. She’s actually pretty fearless, and she tries to fight dogs too. Interesting cat. Found her on the side of the road on the way to Slovyansk back in Oct 22, she practically jumped into my van and wouldn’t get out.
Edit: Since people are seeing this and I remembered, a funny story about her is that when I was on the flight from Warsaw to Frankfurt, she figured out how to open her cat carrier from the inside, got out, ran up to first class, and I had to cover it in tape to keep her from doing the same thing again.
To be fair, my cat reacts the same way to thunder.
Poor baby is so scared
My in laws dog was like this when they came over from Kharkiv. For months. Shaking violently and drooling. Calming Hemp helped but it was a nightmare for months.
