La dentista Olesia si reca nelle città in prima linea per fornire cure dentistiche gratuite ai soldati. Dicono che non sia così spaventosa perché fa un buon lavoro con le iniezioni di anestesia

Dentist Olesia Pryshliak from Ternopil region travels to frontline cities to provide free dental care to soldiers. 

Olesia works as a dentist in one of the private clinics in Berezhany. There, she also provides free dental care to Ukrainian defenders, and once a month she travels to the conflict zone to treat them.

“I first went there in July 2022. It was a calling of the soul. We see many military personnel here at the clinic, but not every soldier can come here, and not everyone has enough time to come and get their teeth treated during a short leave. That’s why I decided to go there and help them there.”

Mostly it’s Donetsk Oblast. There we have the charitable foundation ‘Life Saving Center’ that helps the military. They have many ambulances, and two dental units. One is stationed permanently in Kramatorsk, and the other is mobile. We’ve gone to Druzhkivka, Lyman, Raihorodok, Pokrovsk — many places. Brigades in need of treatment call, doctors come, appointments are made, and they travel there.

Olesia says: “We always chat and joke with them. With me also travels Khrystyna Bilushchak, she is very positive. And the guys come and say, “Oh, I was told that you have golden hands, you do anesthesia very nicely and that’s why I came to you, I’m not so scared”
