      Oof, it’s very broken German.

Your neighbor is afraid because a man that visited you(? lit. “went to you”) was with a key outside(?) and also a woman tried to enter your neighbors floor and was very loud and also something with keys.

I really don’t understand what’s going on other than that your neighbor is afraid of some people who were inside your house. Maybe they wanted to visit you but went to the wrong floor and were at her door instead or something like that? Maybe it’s best to talk to them in person.

      I will try

It is not correct but this is all I understand

Sorry for answering in German at first.

I understand that a man and a woman with keys tried to open the apartment door or the door on another floor, making a lot of noise and the person was frightened. But it’s really difficult to decipher

    5. I agree with the other posters. It’s kinda hard to read and there might be some spelling mistakes but the gist of it (at least my interpretation) is also that: they apologize a few times for writing to you, there was some strange man with keys (coming to you?) they were scared because they have a wife (or I guess the wife was scared) the strange man went to their floor and tried to open the door with a key.

“Please forgive me for writing to you, but a few weeks ago I saw a man outside your place with keys. I got very scared because another time, a woman tried to enter my floor. She left making a lot of noise and tried to open the door upstairs with keys. Please forgive me for writing to you.”

**Whoever wrote this is not a german native speaker**

I think it means Schlüssel / Keys)

      I’ll try to translate

I am sorry for writing you, but a few weeks ago I saw a man who visisted you with keys outdoors

I got very scared, because earlier(it’s either afterwards but maybe she means earlier “vorher”) a woman tried to enter my floor and came / left (but probably meant came) very noisily and with keys to open the door above.

      I apologize for writing you,

      Regards

Keep in mind that I write what he writes which is incorrect German:

Honestly I’m not 100% sure what he means or what he wants. Here is a broken English translation:

I’m sorry I write you but a few weeks ago I saw a man going to you with key. I got very afraid because later a women tried to enter my floor and went away … with key to open the door upstairs. I’m sorry I write you. sincerely yours

      Whatever this means…

My take : “Please excuse me for writing to you, but a few weeks ago I saw a man who went to you outside with keys (note: I would interpret this as he was at your door outside with keys, as in trying to get into your place). I got very scared because ~also a woman has more (note: if your neighbour is a woman I think she might be trying to say it scared her especially because she’s a woman as in, strange men fumbling around at doors in your building would naturally scare you as a woman) [now in this next part it is very unclear who the subject is, could be:] I/he tried to get to my floor and went with lots of noise to (try to) open the door upstairs with keys.
Please excuse me for writing to you,
      Kind regards”

So I’m guessing they wanna inform you about this because it freaked them out and they might want to know if that was someone you know and that person perhaps just mistook the door or whatever or if they should be worried about this.
