50 euro di generi alimentari in Belgio

I don’t understand the whole 50 euros worth of groceries thing that’s been popping up on reddit.
Is it to show how cheap/expensive it is living somewhere or how inflation is rear ending us?

I do notice a lot of these 50 euro things usually have one or several hyper expensive items reducing what can be bought for 50 euros.
