
Sono in vacanza in un hotel a Cipro. Ho comprato da lì un materasso ad aria. Dopo un utilizzo si è strappato. Ho provato a restituire in garanzia, ho parlato con il direttore, non voleva fare nulla, quando ho detto che dovrebbe esserci una garanzia perché viviamo nell’UE, ha cercato di strapparmelo dalle mani e mi ha spinto fuori dal negozio . Lol no. As a tourist in Cyprus they are only interested in your money.
If you’re on vacation I doubt you can do anything more than naming the shop here so that they have an incentive to stop acting like that.
business’s in cyprus are pretty bad and managers are scummy because they hire mostly immigrants for cheap labour but still rip off tourists and lick their a holes, most of them are uneducated idiots who rely on others because they are lazy , you can call the police on them and report them to the economic ministry via the website, that way he will have to suffer alot of backlash
Even as a local it’s tough to do anything. You can report them to the Cyprus Consumer Association but I don’t think much would happen. We also don’t have small claims courts over here so it makes it easy to get away by doing petty thinks like this. It sucks but it is what it is.
Don’t by inflatables from shops like these. They’re probably old or get worn out from being in the sun.
Unfortunately most shop owners here are greedy especially if you’re not Cypriot. Pardon the pun but they inflate the prices a lot as they know people will pay them.
