Sono così arrabbiato con DB in questo momento e non so cosa fare😡😭. Ho prenotato un treno ICE per oggi da Ingolstadt ad Amburgo alle 9 di mattina e mi sono svegliata prestissimo alle 5 di mattina per andare a Ingolstadt da Straubing così per ogni Verspätung che c’è ho ancora tempo. Comunque DB ha iniziato ad agire e sono rimasto bloccato in una piccola stazione chiamata Neustadt an der Donau e ho aspettato 1 ora che arrivasse il treno successivo solo per dire che no, non andranno alla stazione successiva a causa di alcuni “Störungen”. E mi hanno detto di prendere un autobus che non è arrivato lol. SONO GIORNI LAVORATIVI COME POSSONO L’AUTOBUS E IL TRENO COMPORTARSI COME VACANZA.? Una corsa di 24 minuti diventa 2 ore. È davvero pazzesco e il fatto che perderò il treno per Amburgo mi fa impazzire. Posso salire sul prossimo treno ICE e dire che sono arrivato in ritardo prima a causa di questa Verspätung, anche se avevo intenzionalmente iniziato 2 ore prima per arrivare tardi a causa di ciò? 😭🥴😡

Whether you can get the next ice depends on your Ticket.
If you bought from home and it is one Ticket. Yes you can.
If you got Deutschland Ticket or any other Ticket for the first Part of the ride, you are out of luck.
There’s a points failure. I just left Ingolstadt and heard the announcement on the platform. There should be buses from Vohburg, if I understood the announcement correctly.
If you miss the ICE, talk to DB staff in Ingolstadt Hbf and they should allow you to take the next train (if you booked the entire journey as a single ticket)

Wouldn’t it have been better to head to Nurnberg and take a direct ICE to Hamburg? I’m somewhat sure quite a few South to North trains go by that, so even if you had been delayed elsewhere there was a much higher chance of getting something else?
It’s very unfortunate this happened to you but anything more than 2 connections is generally a complete shitshow in my (probably limited) experience.
Buy a car… Until all this madness is fixed. I am sure that in next years there will be big changes
