Only drowned people? Way back when the lottery used to be about people killed in traffic, by drowning or otherwise dying between the eve of midsummer eve and the night of the following Monday when the return traffic finally slowed down.
Fun fact: I’m in a kayaking club and over juhannus we’re told to not even bother calling for public/emergency rescues during this period but to call a taxi instead. Authorities will be far too busy rescuing drunk divers.
