Given the astounding number of destroyed equipment, I’m surprised Vitaly hasn’t made 500 pieces of Chornobaivka history.

These are quite valuable (future) historical artifacts considering we will have neither Russian “armed” forces nor the Russia itself by the end of this decade. This giant territory is economically unsustainable as a single piece without huge external financing i.e. British/US/EU hefty payments for oil.
Putin is absolutely correct when he proclaim “Russia is me”: the hapless state won’t last long past his death. In fact it has been prepared to collapse in the early 00s – see the giant customs post built in the end of 90s between Krasnodar and Rostov regions: [Tsukerova Balka](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Muz-Rwfq3RI)
