It will take years to complete, but at least it will incentivize Ukraine to improve faster, fix corruption, liberalize and advance further into a better country than ever before.

Plus EU will be obligated to help them do it, with lots of aid and support.

Almost 30 years in the making, delayed for decades due to heavy RuZ meddling, infiltration, corruption and now the war.
