Female tractor operators should not be something worth noting in 2024 I am glad it is happening. Makes me think of my Grandmother on the Canadian prairies who took the tractor to town to get groceries in the 1960’s and while she did not generally work on the fields she had no problem driving the tractor when necessary.

I love this little video. This type of labor market modernization (driven by a lack of male labor due to war) has happened in a lot of countries over the decades. It’s a tragedy when it has to happen, but that doesn’t mean we have to ignore that it’s a positive step for labor relations.
