Contesto: Sono dovuto andare in ospedale circa 3 mesi fa e sono tornato a casa con il taxi. L’infermiera mi ha detto che la mia assicurazione avrebbe coperto le spese ma, non appena l’autista è venuto a prendermi, mi ha detto che dovevo pagare e io ho detto che ero d’accordo. Così sono tornato a casa, ho pagato i 10 € al tizio e credo che mi abbia dato una specie di ricevuta. Ora ho ricevuto questa lettera e non riesco a trovare la ricevuta.

It’s ten euros. I’d consider the time it would take me to sort that out as more valuable than that.
Why are you trying to get in trouble for 10€? Is it worth it for you?
If you don’t have the receipt, you need to pay it.
Well, it won’t help that you not find the receipt.
Would just pay it and file it as a learning investment on the importance of keeping documentation in easy to find places.
