If the job ad is in german your application should also be in german.

Gute Deutschkenntnisse werden explizt gefordert, also sollte Lebenslauf, Anschreiben etc. in Deutsch sein

Optisch sieht ansonsten alles sehr gut aus

      Viel Erfolg 🙂

Sorry if I can’t contribute any meaningful suggestions on your application, but I think you are overqualified for this position. In the requirements it says „first experience“, which you should certainly exceed with a PhD degree. Don’t sell yourself short!

Zeiss sucht so hart Leute, dass ich es mit deiner Bewerbung auf jeden Fall probieren würde.

In deutsch – oder in beiden Sprachen – wäre aber besser.

The job advert is in German but your application is in English? I’d say start by sorting that first.

See the last sentence on the job ad?

      It says “Gute Deutschkenntnisse”

I can’t see where you included your german proficiency.

The lack thereof will basically disqualify you
