Ho una portafinestra bloccata in modalità basculante, non si apre orizzontalmente, quindi non posso uscire sul balcone. Credo che ci sia qualcosa che non va nel meccanismo della maniglia, perché girandola non succede nulla. Qualcuno sa come risolvere?

Have you tried closing it, without the curtain in the gap, pushing it shut, moving the handle to the closed position (down), then moving it to the middle position to open it normally?
Can you remove the handle? Is there a screw somewhere? Had a similar problem at work a few times, where one part inside got loose
If repeatedly turning the handle both ways (with the door pushed in as far as it goes) doesn’t work (or continues to be required for actuating the window mechanism from now on), there is some mechanical defect.
The metal “shield” where the handle goes into the window should come free with some wiggling, and then slide off the entire length of the handle. Hidden underneath it, there are two screws. When you remove them, you can pull the entire handle out. If the end of the handle is the problem (should be square, but can become rounded with heavy use), you can look for a new fitting handle online or in a hardware store, and use a handle from another window in your apartment for the meantime. If the end of the handle looks fine, the mechanism in the door needs replacement. It is [possible](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jk3mtChoXQ) to do that yourself, but not trivial.
