Ciao, Reddit!

I am sorry. That is terrible. We can see that you are doing your best to help every day.

In fact, someone is killed every day. There are hundreds of these deaths caused by russia. My brain can’t comprehend the horror of it all, so it just detached itself from it. I don’t let all the grief pass through me so as not to go crazy. But still, you cannot abstract yourself from the nightmare around you. And one day, something like that knocks you out of your rut. I had never even met this guy Igor, who was killed today. He was a friend of the paramedic Andriy, whom we had helped many times before. Andriy asked us to buy two charging stations for this guy and helped him to complete all the paperwork to get our help. I raised funds in Ukraine and today I bought the two stations. Then I wrote to Andrey to clarify the delivery address. Andriy said that Igor was killed, russian artillery destroyed their position. In the evening, Andriy will go to pick up his friend’s body. This time we didn’t make it. Andriy said he would soon help the other guys with the paperwork so that I could send the chargers. And now I have a lump in my throat because I want to cry and howl for a stranger with whom I have not even spoken on the phone. At such moments, I am flooded with hatred for russia and everything connected with it. https://www.reddit.com/u/CF_Siveryany/s/o5uCiEYY1d

You are a *real* angel to those fighting men and women. Igor is in a better place now, but you can and will help many others. You are a wonderful human being and a great example for us all.

This war brings a lot of darkness to Ukraine, but you bring the light. May God bless you infinitely.

It will end. Not today or tomorrow, but it will end. I know words does not make a difference, so I will not say much. But your day of victory will come, and this will be over. Godspeed

An unnecessary war. But through tough times the strength of the few shows the many what it means. Freedom isn’t free, it is earned and at the end of this you guys and gals will have earned it. Ukraine is fucking awesome. Stay strong.
