(i wrote a text with some background history telling how impressive are some colonies today and how well preserved is german culture and language at these places, that i didn’t grow up in a “culturally german” environment, and that now i’m living in a former german colony where the language is still spoken today by the older people (50+) and taught as mother tongue for some children but i guess the image replaced it all.)
