      you do understand that this graph shows the percents of the GDP, right?

      GDP of poland in 2022 was 688.100.000.000 USD. they are spending roughly 5,2% of their GDP into public investments, that’s 35.781.200.000.

      now germany is on the second last place here, their GDP in 2022 was 4.082.000.000.000 USD, they are spending roughly 2,8% which results in 114.296.000.000.

      that’s more than 3 times the amount poland spends, what is the purpose of that graph? it makes sense to show total numbers but how is a percentage meaningful if the GDP is such different?

      Which is weird, because you’d expect everybody to agree on infrastructure investments. Even liberals who usually want to let the markets rule are okay with infrastructure spending because only then can the markets function. So there’s a big consensus on that, but nothing happens.
