Kutlu Evren non ha smentito “l’intervento”: “No comment”

Kutlu Evren, who was subjected to pressure “not to be a candidate” by being called to the “Villa Fırtına” residence of the Turkish Embassy regarding his candidacy for the presidency in the UBP Congress, responded to YENİDÜZEN’s persistent phone calls, did not deny what happened, and said, “There is no comment, there is nothing to talk about, if it was you, you would not have either”.

Olgun Amcaoğlu and Kutlu Evren, who were called to the embassy residence on Tuesday and subjected to the intervention of the Turkish Embassy, have taken a “vow of silence”.

Both names did not make any public statements despite the headlines of YENİDÜZEN and the statements of the current chairmen Ünal Üstel and Ersin Tatar that “democracy is working.”

Kutlu Evren was the first to break this vow of silence. Responding to insistent phone calls, Evren replied “No comment” to the question

“YENİDÜZEN has been carrying the injustice and pressure you have suffered on its headlines for 3 days, I am not asking about the truth of what you are going through, I want to make your voice heard. Don’t you want to say anything?” and did not deny the process.

In a very short phone call, Evren said, “Ünal Bey says that democracy is working in UBP and that the news are lies. Don’t you want to say anything?” to the question

“I have nothing to talk about, if it was you, it wouldn’t be you either”.
