Behind her South Korean competitor for part of her match, she suddenly started to receive huge support from the French and European crowd in the Grand Palais, in Paris. She came back and prevailed. And now has a Olympic bronze medal. 🤗
Olga Kharlan was the same fencer who defeated a Russian woman and refused to shake her hand afterwards in 2023 – prompting her to be disqualified, then later reinstated.
