Why not show the whole painting?
Took a bit of searching and guessing, but I’d say “Emil Ilamo”, sometimes written as “Eemil”. Aka Emil Isaksson until he took a real last name in 1910. Couldn’t confirm as couldn’t find any of his paintings elsewhere, but at least a guy like that existed and he liked art 😀
Most likely just a somebody who painted. My husband and I have many paintings that are originals and signed, but painted by his grandfather and aunt and a cousin and even a classmate. None of them are famous, they just liked painting and gave them as gifts.
