I mean not to discredit anyone for a job well done but I’m sure you could jam a half once coin somewhere and still ground one of these things. Just a weird way to phrase the title.
Creating quads or planes able to fly 200km/h is not difficult.
But the difficulty goes up at some point. But small $500 planes able to fly 4-500km/h are not too difficult to make.
I wonder why there has not been more of this. As for radio, there are many ways to solve this. One is the drone behind, or a kite / balloon with repeater. Or use cell data if available.
We all knew it would happen eventually unless putler fucked off. Finally tick off the box “chop a chopper while in flight with a drone” on my bingo card.
