this is illegal the government made a law that no more than an amount of people are allowed to live in an apartment
I don’t blame the govt for pursuing policies they believe (or believed) would grow Malta’s economy and benefit the country.
But unconstrained greed is a sickness and people are being exploited all over the place. Malta’s reputation is already tanished – things needs to change or it will become unfixable.
What a sad situation. I feel so angry and also powerless at the same time. We have festered a culture where we seem to be fine in exploiting third country nationals for profit.
At least we always manage to raise upward of 2M come Istrina which seems to make us collectively feel better. Fuck the whole world for putting these people in such situations.
