      Question, will this expose Ukraine if Russia counters? Does Ukraine have the manpower to take and hold land? Seems like this salient could be problematic if Russia sends out the cannon fodder…

      US will intervene, like they always do and tell Ukr to stand down in fear of unmanageable  escalation or else they won’t be delivering anymore weapons.
      So don’t get your hopes up

      Ukraine needs to capture as much territory as possible and issue Russia an ultimatum, leave all occupied Ukrainian territory in exchange for Ukraine leaving yours! I think that would be fair!
