This photo is eerie. Imagine, you plan and you know your soldiers are dying according to your tactics right now… takes incredible courage to do this job.
I now start to admire this man’s military prowess.

People criticized the decision to replace Zaluzhnyi with Syrskiy, saying he was born in Russia and too soviet minded.
But they have forgotten that Syrskiy was the one who commanded the first Kharkiv offensive, which took a huge area back from the Russians.
He is good with risky but well-planned blitz.

If this operation succeeds, which we don’t know yet if it will, I never wanna hear a single bad word about Syrskiy from any frustrated doomer or armchair general, be it Ukrainian or int’l ones, ever again.
