What is exactly the impact of this? I can imagine that gas stops flowing, thus money stops flowing, but who is also affected?
I expect Russia will still deliver, however they’ll depend on the measurements on the other end of the line (Orban). There could be a delta between the gas that is pumped in and the gas that is taken out. Without the first measurement, its hard to check whether Ukraine is using some of the gas for its own or not.

I get it now. Ukraine hit the gas measuring station so that when the gas is shipped to fuhrer orbanski it is free.

Can someone explain to me what’s the point of damaging gas measuring station in Kursk if the pipes go through Ukraine so Ukraine can just destroy them there?
Russia is denying the damage. The station is at 51.1783, 35.1387. As you can clearly see on Google Maps, it’s still perfectly undamaged (/s, I was trying to find and link to recent imagery but the free sources don’t have anything useful yet)
How do these stations work? Are the four groups of pipes independent stations (i.e. does destroying one group simply reduce capacity to 3/4) or are they sequential, i.e. this would be out of commission even if that other building didn’t contain anything important?
