Hai visite regolari a tarda notte dove vivi?

We have pretty much two visitors every night, and making it so our garden is very hedgehog-friendly. I recommend checking natuurpunt, they have a great guide on how to keep them around and happy 🥰🦔
We also have a few hedgehogs in the garden, but I’m very displeased with them. According to my kids book they’re supposed to eat slugs. In stead, they step over the hundreds of slugs everywhere to eat the cat food and leave a shit right next to it. No slugs were harmed.
Big fan apart from that.
Hedgehogs are routine animals. If one has set up shop nearby it’ll come by around the same time every day (usually the evening). If you have a female hedgehog, you’ll likely get a few males as well as we’re still in their breeding season. If you’re hearing a ‘buzzing’ noise (kind of like exhaling through the nose with a stuffed nose), that’s probably the males angry at eachother.
Put out some water trays for these beauties!
