What’s for the smart Maltese locals? For tax incentives, I’d rather live in a place like Dubai which also has a high-standard of living. Malta might have tax incentives but still poor in so many other aspects. Life ain’t only about money… something this country will never learn sadly as we are at a point of no return.
I wish they’d do something for self-employed people, year after year this group of folks gets overlooked, forcing them down the route of using a holding & trading company system which ends up negatively impacting the system. Not to mention the scores of locals that can’t take advantage of that either.
Just forces people to raise their prices and fees which hurts end consumers, so the money they’re saving in their tax breaks or getting in their cola bonuses are going to cover the higher fees other folks charge to stay afloat/even.
And who’s going to complain about overpopulation if a lot of maltese are going back?
