They’re trying to Corbyn the left, but the French left is stronger than the Anglophone left.
English newspaper: chaos in France.
French newspaper: after 10 minutes of searching to find an article on UK “We summarize the Andrew Tate case, a male-dominated influencer prosecuted for sexual violence and human trafficking in Romania and the United Kingdom”

Chaos is a rather strong word… If you actually read French-speaking sources, it’s more: many left-wing politicians are heavily disgruntled by the lack of respect Macron shows for the results of democratic elections.
The way British medias talk about France is fascinating. One one hand, they always try to make things look worse than they actually are. They like to describe France as somehow chaotic or being in a catastrophic state on all metrics. As if they wanted to distract from the fact that the country that is actually becoming a hellhole, is the UK, and not France. And I say that as a Belgian, a country where we (French-speaking Belgian) tend to have a quite negative view on France (except to go to holiday there that is).
On another hand, they always like to depict the UK as some sort of victim from France or the EU, as if somehow, we (EUians) liked to persecute them or always wanted to attack them. Yet, they don’t realise we don’t care about them, we don’t think much at all about them, and they are the ones who do “hate” on us.
“Chaos”…. More like “clickbait”.

I think he already forgot the recent elections. Macron had completely lost popular support and only this left-wing coalition avoided a Le Pen victory. At this point he is ignoring a democratic vote just to stay in charge, like a king. Not a good idea in France.
Is France the new Belgium ?
