That thing should cost 50k€ max. Motorbikes that are way more complex to manifacture cost less. Even low production bikes. What is it? Bunch of flux fibre composites, simple engine, simple fuel tank, explosives and not that expensive electronics. Any car manufacturing plant could produce 5000 of these missile-drones a week easily if they wanted to. Automation is a beautiful thing. You probably wouldn’t even need a person in the manufacturing process. Same with drones. Stop using 3d printers. It’s slow. Look at BMW i3. Carbon fibre parts are fully automated. 3d printing is slow.

…Well yeah they just started making them. What you guys think the material cost is? $10,000 of metals, explosives, and circuitry?
It’ll naturally decrease in price, once production is established and building methods are refined.
Would not surprise me one bit if we in the west also helped them develop these for plausible deniability seeing some are STILL somehow terrified of Russia. Makes some sense looking long term if they can make weapons with similar capabilities domestically.
For comparison: The US Tomahawk domestic unit cost is something like $2.4M, unclassified range around 2400km. A Ukrainian missile-drone with unclassified range 700km for $1M is good but they really need to get the cost down (or preferably the range up) to have a serious homegrown substitute for the major long range strike option that we still refuse to part with.
Storm Shadow unclassified range is 550km, though, so if the hints dropped so far about a 700km range for the Palianytsia are accurate, this is potentially significant for when and where Ukraine can’t get permission to use those.
