If you have an android phone and have enabled Developer Options, you might check in there for mock GPS location. If not, then, mountain pirates are the likely culprit.

    2. I’ve had the exact same problem with the “find my friends” app on my iPhone. It shows that I’m at an airport in Lebanon. I don’t know why but my knee jerk reaction was that it had something to do with my cellular data provider and its IP address.

Due to the ongoing situation in Northern Israel / Southern Lebanon since 8.10 (when Hezbollah decided to join forces with Hamas and attack Israel from Lebanese soil, that is), Israel is spoofing GPS to prevent the rats of Hezbollah from shooting and long-range precision missiles.
