Is this just flight log aggregates?
Every July thousands of uni students and their parents visit the UK and Greece for graduation ceremonies, if so.
The stats for the middle eastern countries make sense considering the ongoing wars and instability.
Italy is geographically closer than Spain and France, so a greater number of Cypriots going there makes more sense in terms of cost (albeit perhaps not by this margin).
Turkey not having any given stats is a bit surprising. Cypriot pilgrims to Istanbul and the Princes’ islands are actually quite a few, and I know many who also take cruises along the western coast. But I can surmise why the data isn’t shown.
70% of my customers in Crete are Cypriots and we all vibe and chill together, they’re awesome and always welcome. Definitely top 1% of tourists, wish we could only have them
