By the logic of the article, NATO should intervene in Ukraine already because that is the quickest and most effective way to reclaim the occupied territories, and it would solve Ukraine’s manpower issue.
But let’s be frank here, who here is willing to return in bodybags for Ukraine?

Ukraine, a country of 35 million, is engaged in a war of attrition against a country of 140 million. For that matter, they are engaged in useless PR stunt operations in Kursk.
Maybe if the West actually had supplied Ukraine with weaponry something could have been done. But the Americans are thoroughly useless, they don’t care, they have an ocean between here and there, and are watching Europe deindustrialize itself as they sell us overpriced gas.
Europe itself consists of 27 divided countries, all with their own weapon systems with limited interoperability, but that doesn’t matter anyway since there’s hardly enough weapon systems to donate. Half of them need American approval for export anyway.

Poland will allocate 4.7% of GDP into military in 2025. Other European countries need to make similar decisions and Ukraine has to receive enough support to be able to reclaim their territories. Either Russia loses or Europe will get war anyway, but next one will be even harder, once they annex Ukraine.

Agreed. The West needs a fundamental change in nuclear posturing. It needs to show that it’s ready to nuke not only Russia, but also China & India to win this war, in turn forcing all trade with Russia to cease immediately.
Intense nuclear proliferation needs to resume as well. If Poland is smart, it will ensure its upcoming nuclear reactors can be re-purposed for nuke production in case of NATO’s brain death, which is increasingly likely due to the alt-right’s rise in the US.
All those conventional hardware orders are complete garbage compared to a couple nukes when it comes to deterrence.
