      It’s easy to defeat these right wing parties: just acknowledge citizens concerns without judging them. Valid concerns or not.

      Dismiss anyone who obstruct open discussion of topics related to these concerns. Normalize the debate of difficult topics.

      Then openly communicate what you plan or do not plan to do about these concerns.

      And all parties must demand the public ask them though questions. Parties should be scrutinized not just for what plans they have but for how they plan to achieve them. Lofty promises that are unlikely to be realized should be punished harshly by the public.

      If you want to stop the rise of anti-immigration parties then control immigration.

      If you don’t want to control immigration, even though that’s clearly what a significant voter base wants, then what do you expect to happen in a democracy.

      Do what the people want or they’ll elect someone who will.

      I’m not sure why there can’t just be a sensible right wing party and they all need to be taken over by lunatics.

      “We want to lower immigration to preserve our culture and people” that’s it. You don’t need to root for Russia who is killing thousands of Europeans (you’d think those concerned about European demographics would be upset by this) or take bizarre niche stances on vaccines or gender wars.

      No clue why they aren’t going the way that Denmark party went. They are left leaning and said they’d tackle immigration, next election they won and these far right parties didn’t far.
