There’s an East German movie about this: [Der Fall Gleiwitz](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054864/). Not a bad flick, all things considered. I don’t know of any streaming service or store that has it, but it is indeed floating around on the high seas.
History repeats, unfortunately.
Imagine an imperialist power using false flags to justify wars of expansion in Europe in this day and age.
To this day we are yet to receive reparations for our radio station from Poland.
