Today, Ukraine begins a new school year, despite the war and all the challenges. Today is one of the most important days of the year for millions of Ukrainian children, families, and teachers.

I am grateful to everyone who has made this school year possible for Ukraine—to all the teachers who work in our state, and to everyone who defends our cities and villages.

Ukraine is doing everything possible to provide children with maximum opportunities. All of our schools and higher education institutions that are operating today are a testament to our people’s resilience and Ukraine’s strength.

Сьогодні Україна розпочинає новий навчальний рік. Попри війну, попри всі виклики. Сьогодні для мільйонів наших українських дітей, сімей, вчителів один з найголовніших днів року.

Я вдячний усім, хто зробив можливим цей навчальний рік для України: усім вчителям, які працюють у нашій державі, і кожному, хто захищає наші міста і села.

Україна робить усе, щоб дати дітям якнайбільше можливостей. І всі наші школи, всі вищі навчальні заклади, які сьогодні працюють, – це докази стійкості нашого народу та сили України.
