      I live here in Germany and while I’m not from here, I kind of get what they’re going for. It’s unfortunate they have to pick the shittiest site but at the same time, they’re trying to just live quietly and then you “those people” just being kind of dickheads towards the Germans

      Eastern Germans voting for issues that they have the least confrontation with, crying about giving them free benefits all while simultaniously receiving the most solidarity money from the west German states for nothing – tale as old as time and the joke writes itself

      Which is kinda weird considering that Thuringia has the fifth lowest amount of foreigners percentage wise from the German States significantly below the German average.

      That’s the reason why people vote for far right basically everywhere. You could add something more about economic in some poor countries but immigration&crime it’s the language of the far right. I don’t know how’s the situation in Thuringia but we can’t really underestimate how badly immigration has been handled by europe in general.

      I hope the other parties will be able to understand what people really want and act properly. It’s not too late.

      Funny that half of those topics aren’t influenced by state politicians, but on the federal level – which this election was not about.

      Basically the “economic development” is 6 time less important than “immigration”, well my priorities are definitely different…

      Wenn man nur Schlagzeilen von Bild, TikTop und Co ließt, dann kommt man halt zu dem Schluss, dass die ersten beiden Punkte das größte Problem in Sachsen und Thüringen sind. Auch wenn diese vollkommen absurd sind.

      These are true fashists. It’s not even close to protestvoting. There were studies which have shown that 33% of the people in east germany wish they would get a fuehrer again, thanks to all the propaganda from putin and china who oushed the right wing parties to this amount of popularity.

      unexpectedly low share of them voted AfD because of Ukraine and Russia. I would have guessed it to be at 10%

      meanwhile,17% of BSW voters voted BSW because of Ukraine and Russia,and only 5% of voters overall put the war in Ukraine as their biggest reason for voting their respective party

      even for BSW voters, Ukraine war was 3rd most common reason, behind crime(number 2) and social security/welfare security ( depending on how you would translate “soziale sicherheit ” from German) ,which was the number one reason

      shows that Germany has to fix its immigration policy above everything else, and the rise in inflation has affected the East more than the West
