Ciao ragazzi.

I doubt the convicts familys will make the trip here, it is not that cheap. And if their term ends, they will go back to britain.
Yeah, if those people would be released in Estonia then that idea would be fucked. Visiting could also be a problem, did not think about it. What if terrorist Muhammed is visited by his brother, also an Islamist…sounds like “tourists” I don’t want to see
Not a great idea, the logistics of it alone would be mindfuck.
If UK pays well then business as usual.
Hell no, why can’t such a powerful nation deal with their own prisoners? We don’t want our reputation to be as Europe’s rubbish bin.
After they have done their time, they will be deported back to UK, as they don’t have residence permit. I guess their feet will never touch Estonian soil outside airport and prison territory. Visiting relatives can visit Estonia anyway.
Worrying is that during Estonian prison time they will get friends with local criminals, what might result into some kind of international crime in future. But I think it would attract rather our criminals to visit or move to UK, instead of UK criminals wanting to move to Estonia.
We don’t support, as it can help them get new acquaintances here, and therefore raise transnational organized crime. That’s like Erasmus for cons. Do we really need it?
