So until 2010 drunk driving was a mode of suicide?

And what about road accidents caused by a surprised driver who just happened to see a bobr or chomik that distracted them?

The number of suicides is interesting. In serbia suicides are down almost 50% in the same period. Assumed it would be the same everywhere in ex commie Europe
Are you sure there wasnt some significant change in methodology in 2012?

So what’s the idea of this comparison? Why are we presented with exactly these 2 ?
My conclusions:
Regarding the road incidents:
– Restrictions and Laws in terms of driving make an effect which results in reduced deaths on the road
– Times are changing so are people – Probably people are more responsible now when driving which causes less accidents on the road
– There might be less drivers now compared to previous years -> Highly unlikely ( Also population growth should be applied here to see if there is a connection )
– Probably cars are more reliable than 20 years ago and react faster and have safety measures and etc.
– What are the types of road incidents included here – Let’s say less people ( bypassers ) are hit by car which reduced the total amount of incidents but then if that’s the case that’s probably because people spend more time indoor or something else and has nothing to do with law changes and restrictions.
Regarding the suicides:
– Cos poszlo nie tak po prostu 2011 – 2012 – As u/kakao_w_proszku mentioned – Social Media entered the room

Interesting that suicides go up given that the polish economy is doing ok.
Do you have numbers normalized by population.

Hm, so if Ireland (184 deaths in crashes last year – a 19% rise from the year before) had the same number of deaths on the road as Poland, proportionally, we’d have 920 deaths? Goodness, they must be terrible drivers.

Damn, the graph hit equilibrium when Bitcoin first launched and Michael Jackson passed away. That’s crazy
Wypadkow drogowych is road accidents? Really? (Sincerely asking from Slovakia)
Deaths caused by suicides: like when you jump out of a window and fall on someone else?
All I see is the moment you make itandatoey to drive 30 people start killing themselve
