I believe it was to be streamed in Greece and Cyprus only.

Most depictions of conflicts are biased.

Turkey a country that boasts 3 genocides and an ongoing one while lying about it says the show about enosis of a Hellenic Island is biased. Huh

I’ve just opened the series’ IMDb page and it’s absolutely spectacular, even for Balkan standards – 32.7% of 10s, 14% of 2s and 47.3% of 1s.
Can anybody who has actually seen it confirm whether it’s any good? I like to explore regional Netflix productions even though they are shit in most cases.

I wonder if they show how they killed three children and a mother in a bathtub, for their dad is a Turk in the series?
Stupid authoritarian nationalists. They are a cancer to society

To be fair, both countries regularly produce tv shows or movies where there is either a plotline taking place in a historical conflict from a nationalist point of view or where members of each ethnicity is stereotyped in a negative way. E.g. “violent and barbaric Turk” vs “violent and barbaric Greek,” suspicious amount of female Greek characters either playing prostitutes or use sex to get ahead etc etc etc. Even in movies/Tv shows which are supposed to be “sympathetic towards the other” like Güz Sancisi (Pains of Autumn) or The Club which both take place during the September Pogroms in 1955, where mostly Greeks but also other non-Christian minorities were attacked. (Im not really an expert on Greek movies or TV shows but the only one that explicitely comes to mind is the film 1922)

So what if it is or was? Thats no reason to ban a tv show.
