Now cram some small-calibre, say .22, guns in the wings and make them look like Spitfires.. just for funsies.
More serious: looks like they have reinforced nose cones with a sharp pointy bit to ram UAV’s. I wonder if they also stuck small explosives in that tip. That would most definitely nix any UAV toute suite..
A thought – I’m all for exploding interceptors, that’s cool.
What about dropping a lightweight net. Like my mom’s fishnet stockings. You could do 2 or 4 intercepts.
All you need to do is foul the prop. Looking at the latest footage, they get bloody close.
Flight time may well prohibit it.
