OK! I guess many fathers are killed in every war. What’s so special about that particular one? Why did his story end up in the “news”?
He’s the adopted son which is a big difference. Probably he is Ukrainian and/or half Jewish. I know that the entire synagogue was transported out of Odessa in the first days of war and none of them signed up to fight in the war.
