Let the torrent of scam stores begin where they try and get you to install some alternative that will steal your data and maybe even try and hijack your phone.

Could someone ELI5 what the advantages and disadvantages of this are? Are there any major apps we were missing out on?
Are they going to do something scummy like you have to download the alternative app store from their app store and they will reject all of them that aren’t basically a mirror of the apple app store.
