Kłodzko is the flooded historic town you saw on the photos this weekend. As a result of the protests, only 4 reservoirs/dams were built instead of the projected 16.

“protect the natural environment”*
*the infrastructure would be an eyesore for them
Well, too late to do anything else about them but to make sure those bums don’t get flood relief afterwards.
Well at least their lives were not “ruined” so I guess that’s good.
