This won’t do anything. Problem is first – the people who are already here, something like 70% of Syrian refugees living in Germany have had at least 1 trip back to Syria, all of those are obviously not refugees and need to be sent back to their home.
Second problem is that we have NGO ferry service from Africa to through the Meditteranean. What needs to change is these International treaties. Either that or EU countries should leave them.

All you need to do is send home all the people that do not have a right to be in Germany and control the ones that can’t or won’t leave. Give a boost to policing or change laws to prosecute people earlier of wanting to do harm.
Why would you block highways full of trade and EU citizens? I don’t see the point.
Years of talking “Let them come” just to switch in a day to closed boarders because you started to lose elections, it’s so cynical and “Realpolitik”, Scholz center is really a slimy clueless bunch.

Is this an election preparation?
Those border controls are random and barely noticeable. It’s just to create an illusion for political reasons.
The deportations to Afghanistan was not possible for years, but suddenly, days before a regional election in which AFD could win, magic happens and 2 planes deported people to Kabul. Next one is probably before the next election.
The point is, from economy to immigration, the current government is lost, they just react and pretend to do things without actually doing anything.
And to make things better, last week headlines are that a new immigration agreement with Kenya will bring 250k workers. Lovely.
Ah yes the refugees coming from luxembourg, belgium, denmaek an the netherlands.
Question is… will it satisfy the AFD voters?
