Hospitality, other small businesses, the consumer… The list is huge.
Tax receipts are higher than ever and some breaks have to be handed down.
Support small businesses and support consumers
My last few bosses in hospitality have been the worst human beings alive. They belittle staff in front of customers, pinch tips, cut hours on a whim even when we’re busy, are super stingy with portion control, and raise prices at every opportunity. If a few businesses crash and burn, so be it. The fact that they need this VAT cut is a testament to their poor business practices.
If vat rate was to return will it benefit the customer?
