Per capire il Mississippi sono andato in Spagna

Mississippi became an awful place because the people that settled there slaughtered the native population and replaced them with slaves. They then fought a war over their right to continue to have slaves and when they lost they resorted to oppression and terror to keep those former slaves as a permanent underclass. To this day not much has changed. I know because my family comes from there. I don’t think this map had much at all to do with making Mississippi what is is today.
