At least AfD and BSW should not get half of seats with those results, although it will be close.
Nice that AfD did not claim first place either.

I don’t know how it happened but the SPD has managed to turn around the situation in a few days.

I hope that is true. But no matter what, that’s a shocking and surprising larger than expected support for the SPD compared to the latest polls before election.

The result will be very interesting, 48%, a few less and this will not be enough.

Seems that Germans decided to turn the clock 95 – 100 years back. Ah, here we go again…

    6. A question why is the vote share of CDU so low compared to Saxony and Thuringia?

Do the Germans know the add and bow are basically russian mouthpieces?ย

For the record the same was true last year. It’s just now more voters have voted both SPD and AfD.

It makes sense if you think of them as 2 sides of the collectivist coin.

Quick question, as I don’t follow German politics. Is AfD pro-Russian?

Talk about a split election! For those who don’t know, the SPD are center-left, AfD is the far-right, CDU is center-right (it was Angela Merkel’s party), the green are the environmentalists.

Why far-right? Why not far-left? Why not something else?
